WELCOME TO “THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH!”
THE WALT DISNEY WORLD

In the Magic Kingdom, Cinderella’s Castle towers above everything else on Main Street!
The bronze statue “PARTNERS”  stands in the center of a circle, immediately below the castle.
This statue depicts Walter Elias Disney (Walt) joining hands with his masterful creation, “Mortimer Mouse!”
That’s right, Walt called him Mortimer! However, Lillian, his wife of 41 years, despised that name.
Walt asked, “What do you suggest?”… she answered him with a resounding“MICKEY.” … and the rest is history!
